The HandVivante™ MirrorHand is an advanced robotic rehabilitation system designed to assist patients in regaining hand motor function and dexterity following neurological or musculoskeletal injuries. Leveraging the brain’s own neuroplasticity through the intuitive “mirror hand” principle, this system provides effective, engaging therapy to enhance recovery outcomes.

This innovative system works by capturing the precise finger movements of the patient’s unaffected hand using a comfortable, lightweight sensor glove. These intended motions are then instantly translated into commands for the ergonomic robotic hand, which gently guides the affected hand through the same patterns. This master-slave guided control facilitates continuous passive range-of-motion training and enables active participation in functional, task-oriented exercises.
